I couldn’t ask for better with Miramar Childcare, our little man settled in really fast at 12 months old and continues to love daycare as he grows into a confident and busy toddler. As well as healthy food and all the curriculum learning, he gains so much more than childcare. He only goes a couple of days a week but is learning awesome social skills and physical skills not to mention some Te Reo – and he is growing more clever and funny everyday. The space (house and large garden) is also super fun, beautiful and welcoming. I love going there, and sometimes find it hard to get him to leave! The Kaiako are amazing, and really responsive to my quite regular checking in, and answer my questions about everything from food, to sleep or development spurts. As first time parents we learn so much from them. Sarah is an amazing manager, and Makaela is a very caring profile teacher – it is has gone better than we ever hoped for 🙂

My 2.5 year old son has been attending Miramar Childcare for nearly 6 months now and is really flourishing in the environment. He loves having the freedom to spend much of the day playing in the yard regardless of the weather, and especially enjoys the forest session excursions. Because the children are not divided into age-related classrooms, he’s really benefiting from being able to interact and socialize with children of different ages, especially the older ones who have taught him to be more respectful of sharing toys and space. We really like the strong sense of community he’s learning through something as simple as how everyone eats meals or works on a class project all together. He loves his teachers and is always excited to run into them outside of daycare!

Keanu and I have recently made a transition into Miramar childcare and it is going so well and smoothly, we really love how friendly the staff and children are. Miramar childcare is a huge whanau they welcomed my son and I with open arms. Keanu was a bit shy at first but he fits right in and is enjoying his settling in days. My nephew Rome was also apart of Miramar childcare and has recently moved on to school but he loved his time there and made a strong bond with the teachers and tamariki. 

Our son really enjoys his days at MCC. His teachers are lovely and he has made good friends there. We particularly like that he gets hot meals for lunch cooked in the kitchen and is kept so busy with all the activities and outdoor play. We always look forward to seeing photos of what he gets up to during the day!

It’s been a reassuring 2019 for me knowing that my daughter is in the wonderful care of your team. My daughter always comes home happy! I can’t thank you enough!
